Lurn Media: From “Meh” to Magnetic
Herbert, the founder reached out with a simple ask:
“Our website… just isn’t us anymore.”
It was stuck in Webflow. Dark. Heavy. A little tired.
It didn’t feel like their brand, didn’t spark conversations, and didn’t stand out from the crowd.
They wanted something lighter, fresher, faster — and a whole lot more fun.

The Spark
Then Herbert sent me their inspiration links.
Instantly, my brain lit up. I could see it: a bright, clean design with playful animations, pops of color in all the right places, and a flow that gently nudges you from “What’s this?” to “Book a call” without you even noticing.
I dove into my usual inspiration wormholes — scrolling X, exploring the Contra community — letting ideas pile up until the new Lurn Media was crystal clear in my head.

The Game Plan
Move to Framer so the site could be fast, lightweight, and alive with animations.
Flip the whole vibe from dark and heavy to light and colorful.
Guide the visitor’s journey so every scroll makes sense and leads somewhere.
Show the scale — this was the biggest CMS I’ve ever touched: over 300 pieces of content, all organized and easy to navigate.

Bringing It to Life
I mocked up the homepage in Figma to lock in the style, then jumped into Framer to design, build, and animate the rest.
Every interaction had a purpose: hover states that respond just right, colors that pull your attention exactly where it needs to be, sections that reveal themselves with just enough motion to feel alive — but never slow you down.

The Reaction
When I showed the finished site, Herbert didn’t hold back:
“It’s phenomenal. We couldn’t be happier and are so excited to launch it.”
Now Lurn Media has a site that feels like them — approachable, confident, and ready to start conversations.
It’s quick, it’s clean, and behind the scenes it’s quietly running on the biggest content system I’ve ever built.
And honestly? I’m just glad Herbert hit send on that first message.
